Thanks for accepting me. Hi all here Hi!
wastedshame Featured By Owner Jun 22, 2016   General Artist

I recently put up a forum post asking about prismacolor markers, specifically, the best colors for skin tones. I need specific names.

Please have a look at my forum post and comment there if you're willing to help. <3…

So, Verithins and Spft core, I hear people talk about one of the other, but never heard of anyone using both too much. Is it okay to use both in one? I know Verithins are for fine detail and outline while soft core are for blending and texture

I'd like to learn how to draw in perspective, so I can create more dynamic poses, scenes and such.

Can anyone recommend good online resources with tutorials and such on how to draw in perspective? One-point perspective is plenty for now. I'd be happy just being able to draw a figure rotated 45 degrees.

I've been studying trigonometry, rotational matrices and linear algebra to get a better grasp on this, but something tells me I'm going off on a tangent with this (no pun intended). All of this is relevant for computer graphics, but probably overkill for traditional media?

Thank you in advance!

This site should help you a lot:

This is awesome. Thank you.

I just started inking my drawings prior to coloring them in back in April.

Would Verithin pencils look better for outlining the sketches prior to coloring them in? One thing I do like about the ink pens is that you can erase right over it once it's dry and not worry about losing any of it.

But with the Verithin pencils, do they smudge like softcore pencils do? Kind of why I started inking in the first place. That and it gives the picture more polish, I feel.
